FiveOne Digital ("we", "us", or "our") operates the ScoreBabu mobile application, cloud services, and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal and transactional information when you use ScoreBabu for cricket match scoring, live streaming broadcasts, tournament administration, and in-app subscription purchases.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide high-performance offline scoring, seamless cloud sync, secure payment processing, and broadcast-quality streaming.
A. Account & Profile Information
- Phone number, name, and email address provided during phone OTP or social authentication.
- Cricket player profile details (player nickname, batting style, bowling style, profile avatar).
- Team details (squad rosters, team logo, captaincy, and player assignments).
B. Match Scoring & Tournament Data
- Ball-by-ball delivery events (runs, wickets, extras, bowler rotations, wagon wheels).
- Tournament schedules, fixtures, points tables, and Net Run Rate (NRR) calculations.
- Match operator assignments and device synchronization states.
C. Payment & Billing Information
- Order identifiers, transaction references, currency, amount paid, and subscription status.
- Billing name and state/country for tax calculation (such as GST compliance).
- IMPORTANT: We DO NOT store credit card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates, or UPI MPINs. All payment transactions are encrypted and processed directly by certified third-party payment aggregators (such as Razorpay, Stripe, Google Play Billing, or Apple In-App Purchase) compliant with PCI-DSS Level 1 standards.
D. Camera, Audio & Streaming Media
- Camera and microphone feeds when you activate the live RTMP broadcast feature.
- YouTube OAuth access tokens if you choose to connect your YouTube channel for live stream broadcasting. These tokens are stored securely and used solely to initiate and manage broadcasts you request.
E. Technical & Device Diagnostics
- Device model, operating system version, unique device identifier (UUIDv4), and app version.
- Network connection type, IP address, crash logs, and sync latency diagnostics.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process your data for legitimate service delivery, security, and statutory compliance:
- Delivering real-time scoring sync, public match scorecards, and tournament leaderboards.
- Processing orders, subscriptions, tournament registrations, and issuing official invoices.
- Verifying scoring operator authorization and preventing unauthorized match tampering.
- Transmitting live video feeds to configured RTMP server endpoints or YouTube Live.
- Detecting fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, and security violations.
- Sending critical service announcements, OTP verification codes, and customer support communications.
4. Payment Security & PCI-DSS Compliance
Security of financial transactions is our highest priority:
- All payment gateway integrations adhere to PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) Level 1 certification.
- Payment sessions utilize TLS 1.3 encryption end-to-end between your device and the payment gateway.
- Tokens and idempotency keys ensure transactions cannot be charged multiple times during network interruptions.
- Refunds are securely processed directly back to the original source account via the payment aggregator.
5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosures
We only share your data with trusted partners necessary to operate ScoreBabu:
- Payment Partners: Razorpay, Stripe, Apple StoreKit, and Google Play Billing for payment processing and dispute resolution.
- Cloud & Database Hosting: Cloud infrastructure providers hosting encrypted databases and WebSocket sync engines.
- Streaming Destinations: YouTube Live API Services when explicitly authorized by you to broadcast matches.
- Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Only when legally required to comply with court orders, applicable laws, or fraud investigations.
- We strictly NEVER sell, license, or barter your personal contact details or player records to third-party marketing companies.
6. Data Retention & Account Deletion
You retain complete control over your personal data:
- Active accounts: We retain your profile, team memberships, and scoring logs for as long as your account is active.
- Account Deletion: You may request account deletion at any time directly through the app settings or by emailing privacy@scorebabu.com. Upon confirmation, all personal identifiers will be permanently purged within 30 days.
- Historical Match Integrity: Public scorecards of completed matches retain non-personal team names and match outcome records to preserve sporting records.
- Financial Records: Billing invoices and transaction IDs are retained for statutory periods required by tax and accounting laws.
7. Children's Privacy
ScoreBabu is designed for cricket enthusiasts of all ages, including grassroots school and youth academies. When accounts or player profiles are created for individuals under 18 years of age, consent must be provided by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized school/academy coach. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate guardian supervision.

ScoreBabu processes customer subscriptions and tournament pass transactions exclusively through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateways (such as Razorpay, Stripe, Google Play, and Apple). We never store or handle your credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI MPINs on our servers.
